Commencing from the historic Fortress of Montecarlo, our journey unfolds with a leisurely descent towards Collodi, guided by tranquil country roads hidden from the bustle of urban life. Arriving at the famed village of Pinocchio, we prepare to tackle the first ascent of our tour, navigating the winding and picturesque Vitialle road, and offering breathtaking vistas of the sprawling vineyards and ancient olive groves adorning the landscape. Descending from the charming hamlet of San Gennaro, we are enveloped by the serene ambience of centuries-old olive groves, leading us to the renowned Lazzaroni vineyards. Here, a gentle ascent awaits us, guiding us along Via Tofori to the enchanting Villa Torrigiani, where history and beauty intertwine. Continuing our journey southward, we soon arrive at the Quercia delle Streghe in Gragnano—a spectacular monumental tree steeped in legend. Leaving this awe-inspiring sight behind, we embark on our return to Montecarlo, pedalling uphill through the verdant hillsides of the medieval village, each pedal stroke a testament to the timeless allure of the Tuscan countryside.
